Part-time Administration Officer

Job brief:

We’re looking for a Part-time Administration Officer who is seeking a career within a dynamic company which is fast expanding both locally and internationally. The ideal candidate would be expected to work an average of 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Performing front desk duties
  • Performing various administrative tasks including scanning and filing of documentation
  • Performing general secretarial duties including preparing boardrooms for meetings
  • Liaising with the various suppliers of the Company
  • Occasional collection / delivery of documentation
  • Handling enquiries by telephone or email
  • Maintaining electronic and manual records

Requirements

  • Ordinary level standard of education
  • Fluency in both Maltese and English languages
  •  Capability to work within a team
  •  Ability to work with Microsoft Office
  •  Good communication skills

Senior Finance Officer

Job brief:

An exciting opportunity for the right individual who is seeking a career within a dynamic company, fast-expanding both locally and internationally. The candidate who will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager shall play a major part within the Finance team.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with audits, invoices and payment runs whilst demonstrating interest in managing accounting activities, including bank and other reconciliations, accounts payable, accruals and prepayments. He/she should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.

Ultimately, he/she will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our financial transactions and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
  • Process invoices
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Track bank deposits and payments
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Implement financial policies

Requirements

  • Minimum one to two years of work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  • Experience using financial software mainly SAGE and SAP
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Knowledge of financial regulations
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Sharp time management skills
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
  • Minimum A-level standard, candidates in the process of attaining their ACCA will be given preference
  • Fluency in both Maltese and English
